Allied Images has introduced three packaged large format document scanning solutions for educational establishments. The educational packages, which start at £4,495, are available now from Allied Images’ resellers throughout the UK and Ireland.

SmartLF Ci 40 is a networked, CIS based technical document scanner for engineers, architects, CAD workgroups and office users. This new generation scanner has an intuitive face-up paper feed with automatic paper size detection. It has an advanced single roller paper transport that feeds delicate technical documents with care. It offers professional productivity at the lowest price available in today’s marketplace.

SmartLF Cx 40 CIS based scanner offers sharp, fast large format technical document scans making it ideal for engineering, architecture and technical users. Its 600 dpi resolution gives sharp fine image detail and clean black & white scans.

The top of the range SmartLF Gx 42 is an affordable CCD scanner optimised for colour imaging performance so is ideal for full-colour graphics, photographs and maps. SmartLF CCD scanners provide a wide colour gamut and high dynamic range. This, coupled with 1200x600 dpi resolution allows you to capture the very finest image detail.
