This driver has been developed to provide customers who are new to large-format scanning and recognise the training benefits of working with an interface already well established in the small format market. Once installed, ISIS enables products like KOFAX Ascent and many others to connect directly with the already installed Windows SmartLF driver. Scan parameters are selected from familiar ISIS styled dialogue boxes to place scanned image information into the application's work area in a similar way to a Twain driver. The ISIS driver does not include colour adjustment or document clean-up tools and relies on the host application for these functions.
