Seiko Teriostar
precision engineered monochrome printers come in two
state-of-the-art models. One is a network printer model, the
LP-1020, and the other, a multi-function scanner/ copier/
printer model, the LP-1020MF.
Each
model boasts high-speeds of output, generating 3.4 A0-size
prints per minute (ppm), and 6.2 A1-size ppm, at a true optical resolution of
600dpi. Due to their combination of 600dpi and a single
developer unit, the Teriostar family delivers superb density
and accurate prints with superb quality. Print speed
is up to 50% more than other printers in the same price
class reducing wait times and increasing productivity.
With
the optional colour scanner, only available on LP1020 MF,
redlines markup (or any colour) can be scanned and sent out
using the same wide-format LED copier your business uses for
printing.
Additionally, both models
feature a small footprint allowing you the added convenience
of a front-side feed system and ejection all in one small
space. Teriostar printers can be placed against a
wall and all paper loading and print removal is done from
the front of the printer. Also, the print exits at a
convenient height within comfortable user reach and not
close to the floor.
Moreover, the Teriostar family encompasses the ‘first ever’
user-replaceable process cartridge,
(photo-processing unit, lens & charge wire). With this
newly developed Seiko I Infotech technology,
you can now replace your process cartridge just like in a
desktop laser printer without the expense of a service call.
Collectively, the Teriostar offers the best value, quality,
and speed in its class.
Finally, Teriostar plotters and copiers utilise parallel-processing
which can actually double productivity over older, single
processing printers by being able to process an incoming
file while another one prints. Teriostar plotters and
copiers are designed specifically
for the high-speed workflow of today’s CAD, AEC and
reprographic businesses.

The Terioplot software suite provides
comprehensive network printing and accounting features for the Teriostar family
of wide-format printers and copiers. Standard Software includes: server components - Terioplot, Print Engine, Configurator, client components - Plot Client, Web Print, Print Plus, Windows &
Mac drivers & AutoCAD HDI driver.
Optional
software modules include: PS/PDF, AutoCAD DXF/DWG, ScanPlus, Folding units &
Store/Archive with OCR.
